The California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) is an income tax credit that is available to companies for a project associated with staying or growing in California. Beginning January 1, 2014 Maryland provides a refundable tax credit equal to 33% of an eligible investment to Qualified Maryland Cybersecurity Companies (QMCCs) that seek and secure investment from an in-state or out-of-state investor.
